WELCOME TO THE
AFRICAN AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL SPORTS, Academics & arts CLUB
Grow tHE GLOW
MISSION STATEMENT
The AFRICAN AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL SPORTS, ACADEMICS & ARTS CLUB exists to ensure that San Francisco’s most at-risk youth, ages 8-18, have access to international league sports. Our goal is to guide them in reaching their full potential by offering a variety of athletic, educational, personal development programming.
Growing up, Mr. Mabrey was widely respected for his athletic ability and naturally gifted school smarts but neither his athletic nor his academic talents could help him evade the pitfalls and dangers of his own neighborhood.
-
ACADEMICS
Through our mentorship program, TAAISAAC students will participate in architecture, science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), focused enrichment activities which are geared towards building problem solving skills and critical thinking skills. Activities in disciplines such as computer and health science will also be included.
-
ATHLETICS
TAAISAAC will enlist top quality athletic trainers throughout San Francisco to conduct high level athletic camps and clinics. AAISC student athletes will also have the opportunity to travel throughout the state of California and internationally to participate in athletic combines and camps.
-
ARTISTRY
TAAISAAC is dedicated to providing multiple opportunities for students to experience various types of performing and physical art forms. Our students will be introduced to a plethora of creative options to further develop and master their desired art form.
